Metallic Mining Council records, 1978-1980.

Minutes, agenda, testimony, draft rules, reports, memoranda, and other informational materials of the council created by Wisconsin Governor Anthony Earl in 1978 to advise the state on the regulation of the mining industry. The council was attached to the Dept. of Natural Resources for administrative purposes and the records include chronological correspondence and other papers of Linda Reivitz of DNR, chair of the council.
